Do we have to fill in a booking form?
Once you have made your booking by telephone or e-mail, we will send you a booking form for you to complete, sign and return.
Is Lily Pond Cottage equipped with a landline telephone?
No, but the mobile phone signals in the area are usually good enough to stay in touch with the rest of the world.
Is the internet available in the cottage?
Yes, there is a broadband Wi-Fi internet connection available.
Will you provide us with bed linen and towels?
Yes, we will provide linen and towels.
When is the payment due?
A deposit of £100 is required, payable on booking. The balance is due 4 weeks before arrival.
Do you accept card payments?
Yes, we do. The deposit can be paid using the "pay now" button on our booking & enquiries page - by PayPal, card or bank transfer. Just follow the onscreen instructions. Alternatively, you can pay by cheque.
Later, we will send you a money request for the remaining balance by
e-mail 6 weeks before the date of your arrival. Again, you will be able to pay online through PayPal, by card, bank transfer or cheque.
Is there any cancellation fees?
If you have to cancel your booking, the deposit will only be refunded after somebody else has made a booking for the relevant week(s). Nevertheless, in this case a £10 admin fee will be charged.
Does the rent include the costs for electricity etc.?
Yes, it does. Our weekly tariffs are "all inclusive", so there won't be any extra charges for the costs of heating, electricity and internet usage.
Can we bring our pets to Lily Pond Cottage?
No, pets are not allowed in the cottage.
Are we allowed to smoke in the cottage?
No, Lily Pond Cottage is a non-smoking accomodation.
